Elements and Performance Criteria

1. Plan and prepare work
   • Documentation to determine High Voltage (H.V.) substation and/or local network status is assessed and evaluated, in accordance with workplace procedures
   • H.V. substation or local network equipment operational prerequisites are established, in accordance with manufacturers' requirements and workplace procedures
   • Sequence for operating local network section and equipment is determined, in accordance with workplace procedures and site requirements
   • Information to forecast and plan response for efficient operation of H.V substation or local network is utilised, in accordance with workplace procedures
   • Regular consultation with key stakeholders is maintained, in accordance with workplace procedures
   • Implications of operator's actions to H.V substation or local network are identified and assessed, in accordance with workplace procedures
2. H.V. substation or local network equipment operational prerequisites are established, in accordance with manufacturers' requirements and workplace procedures

14. Communication is established with key stakeholders, in accordance with workplace procedures, to identify nature or source of H.V. substation or local network system interference
15. Corrective action is taken, in accordance with workplace procedures
16. Local system integrity and personnel safety are maintained, in accordance with workplace procedures, through consultation with appropriate personnel and operational documentation and contingency plans
17. Review incident response and preventative procedures
    • Incident or fault responses are assessed and reviewed, in accordance with workplace procedures
18. Alternative responses or contingency plan strategies are identified and assessed, in accordance with workplace procedures
19. Alternative responses or contingency plan strategies are documented and approved, in accordance with workplace procedures
20. Complete documentation
    • H.V. substation or local network problems, movements and status are reported, in accordance with workplace procedures
21. Documentation is updated, in accordance with workplace procedures
